A Conversation with Oliver Herring

TASK follow up meeting 02.13.08
On Tuesday 12th February, Artist in Residence, Oliver Herring facilitated TASK, an improvisational art-making event that took place in the Department of Art. TASK brought together undergraduate and graduate students from the Department of Art to create unique site-specific artworks. Simple visual oriented tasks were devised by the artist as catalysts for performance by the participants.

On Wednesday 13th February, students, faculty and staff from the University of Maryland who participated in TASK with Visiting Artist Oliver Herring, reconvened to discuss how the project will develop, and move into the community.
